Zhonghengfeng Construction Group has achieved a key milestone in its Guinea steel structure project. The first batch of components has successfully completed the entire cycle—production, inspection, packing, and shipment—and has safely arrived at the client’s designated port in West Africa. Concurrently, production of subsequent batches continues seamlessly at the Baotou manufacturing base.
Phase One Complete: First Batch Arrives Safely
This delivery marks the project’s first major node. Departing from the Baotou production base, the components traveled via road transport to the domestic port, successfully validating the entire logistics and delivery chain.
At the Baotou facility, the components underwent the full production process: cutting, assembly, welding, surface treatment, and anti-corrosion coating. Before dispatch, each piece passed rigorous quality control checkpoints, including dimensional verification and weld inspection.
Precision Manufacturing & Quality Assurance
The project strictly adheres to Chinese steel structure manufacturing codes. From Welding Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) to final inspection, every step is documented for full traceability.
The Baotou base, spanning 100,000 square meters with a monthly capacity exceeding 10,000 tons, ensures the continuous production of multi-batch components required for this large-scale overseas project.
Steady Progress on Subsequent Batches
Following the successful delivery of the first batch, the Baotou base is progressing with scheduled production of the remaining components. Processes are sequenced according to the production plan to ensure overall project timelines remain controllable.
To date, Zhonghengfeng has completed over 910 steel structure projects, with a total steel volume exceeding 1.45 million tons, covering 100+ cities in China and 6 countries overseas. This Guinea project represents the company’s first major venture into the West African market, demanding higher standards for production scheduling and logistics coordination.
Strategic Expansion in West Africa
The safe arrival of the first batch confirms Zhonghengfeng’s capability to execute complex logistics to West Africa. Guinea is one of the group’s six target overseas markets, alongside Kazakhstan, Laos, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Slovakia.
