Zhonghengfeng Construction Group held its 2025 annual review and 2026 planning meeting at its Baotou headquarters on February 3–4, 2026. Leaders from the group’s subsidiaries, steel fabrication plant and functional departments reviewed the previous year’s work and agreed on priorities for the year ahead.
The two-day discussion covered quality control, safety, finance, procurement, legal and audit work, workshop production, marketing and human resources. Some managers joined online, while Chairman Li Tao chaired the meeting in Baotou.

Business units review project delivery and market development
The Xi’an company reported progress in regional market development and several key project wins during a difficult operating environment. Its review also covered controls for quality, safety and construction schedules. For 2026, the unit plans to strengthen project management, cost control and employee development.
The Beijing company reviewed operating targets, major projects and efficiency initiatives. Its 2025 work included domestic railway, bridge and industrial building opportunities, as well as the completion of steel structure packages for the Astana LRT Phase I canopy and an Almaty logistics park in Kazakhstan. The team will continue to make customer service the central principle of its domestic and international work.

The Baotou company discussed project management, operating-model improvements and day-to-day efficiency. Its priorities include expanding business opportunities while building on cost and process improvements made during 2025.
Steel fabrication priorities: safety, quality and production efficiency
The Zhonghengfeng steel fabrication plant reviewed production results, operating gaps and corrective measures. Its 2026 plan emphasizes routine safety and quality inspections, closer control throughout the manufacturing process and improved management of surplus materials.
For overseas buyers, these internal priorities directly affect project execution. Consistent material control, inspection records, production scheduling and cross-department coordination help a fabricator deliver components that match drawings, specifications and shipment requirements.

Procurement, quality and safety, international engineering, finance, legal and administrative teams also presented their reviews. Each department identified measures intended to improve coordination and make its work more effective during 2026.
International capability remains part of the 2026 plan
In his closing remarks, Li Tao used the theme “new regions, new markets, new thinking and new methods.” He noted that Zhonghengfeng had continued to develop its business, project capabilities and team during 2025 despite changing market conditions.
The group’s qualification work for European, American and Russian requirements has strengthened the systems supporting overseas steel projects. These qualifications complement practical experience in Kazakhstan and other international markets, but each project will continue to be managed according to its own contract, drawings, technical standards and inspection plan.

Customer needs, quality and safety guide the year ahead
Zhonghengfeng’s 2026 plan calls for steady development, a continued focus on core capabilities and disciplined execution. The group will keep quality and safety as operating priorities while working more closely around customer requirements and key business goals.
