Zhonghengfeng launches program to strengthen overseas steel structure customer service

Zhonghengfeng Construction Group has launched a year-long B2B marketing and team development program to improve how its international department supports overseas steel structure clients. The program began with a project kickoff meeting at the company’s office in September 2026.

Why overseas steel structure service needs a dedicated system

Zhonghengfeng already supplies steel structures to projects outside China. Its overseas project experience includes Kazakhstan, Laos, Guinea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Slovakia. The company also holds certifications for American, European and Russian market requirements.

Fabrication capacity and certification help a supplier enter an international market, but they do not cover every concern a buyer faces after the first inquiry. A typical overseas steel structure order moves through technical clarification, quotation, sample or document review, contract confirmation, detailing, production, inspection, packing, shipment and site coordination. The parties may also need to work across different time zones, languages and technical standards.

The new program focuses on the people and working methods behind those steps. Its purpose is to help the international team respond more clearly, coordinate issues sooner and provide consistent support throughout the project cycle.

A year-long program for the international business team

Zhonghengfeng is working with Hangzhou Yuntuofu Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. on the program. Before the full kickoff meeting, Zhonghengfeng Chairman Li Tao and Yuntuofu founder Zhu Lisheng discussed the project background, implementation priorities and working schedule.

Company management and the full international business department then joined the project launch. The two teams introduced their roles, discussed the practical challenges of B2B export work and agreed on a one-year cooperation framework. Li Tao explained why Zhonghengfeng brought in an external team and set expectations for the work ahead.

Participants also signed a project commitment board that sets out the team’s working principles. The signing was intended to make responsibilities visible and shared across the department rather than leaving the project to a small group.

Building service capability within the team

The investment is designed to improve the international team’s day-to-day work, not simply generate short-term orders. Steel fabrication equipment, production space and certifications are essential, but overseas buyers also depend on timely answers and clear project communication.

A delayed or incomplete response can create additional work for the client, especially when technical drawings, inspection requirements, shipping documents or installation schedules are involved. Zhonghengfeng therefore plans to strengthen the team’s ability to handle questions, coordinate internally and follow issues through to resolution.

The entire international department is taking part because overseas customer service depends on a connected workflow. Sales, technical coordination, production follow-up and delivery support need access to the same project information and must give the client consistent answers.

Manufacturing experience behind the service program

According to Zhonghengfeng’s company records, the group has participated in more than 910 projects involving about 1.45 million tonnes of steel structures across more than 100 cities and regions. This work includes over 70 high-speed railway stations and more than 220 bridges.

The company’s Baotou manufacturing base covers 100,000 square metres and has a monthly production capacity of more than 10,000 tonnes. Zhonghengfeng’s qualifications include AISC certification, European CE-related certification and certification for Russian standard requirements.

These resources support fabrication and delivery. The new program addresses another part of international project execution: how the company communicates with buyers and coordinates service before, during and after production.
