Zhonghengfeng Construction Group held its 2026 mid-year meeting in Beijing on July 17 and 18. Managers from across the company reviewed first-half operations and agreed on priorities for the rest of the year.
The meeting focused on four working themes: confidence, stronger management, closer customer development, and better quality and efficiency. The discussion covered legal risk, finance, project operations, factory management and marketing.

Reviewing the first half of 2026
Chairman Li Tao led a review of the company’s management systems and the problems that affected work during the first six months. Vice Chairman Li Honglei summarized results from the same period and discussed the pressure facing construction and steel structure businesses.

Department heads agreed that the second half requires clearer ownership and faster coordination between teams. Their discussion addressed price pressure in the domestic market, competition for international work, and the need to protect safety and quality while controlling cost.
Second-half priorities for management and production
The company plans to move legal review earlier in the project process, simplify selected financial procedures and use clearer production-based measures in its workshops. Marketing resources will focus more closely on established and high-potential customers.
For clients, the intended result is more consistent execution. Production controls affect the stability of each batch of components. Simpler internal approval can reduce avoidable delays. Better coordination between sales, technical teams, the factory and project staff can also make responses more reliable.

Domestic general contracting division begins formal operations
A flag presentation marked the formal launch of Zhonghengfeng’s general contracting division. Within the company’s domestic China business, the division will coordinate planning, design management, procurement, construction and completion handover.
This domestic scope is separate from Zhonghengfeng’s overseas services. For international projects, the company focuses on engineering coordination, detailing, factory fabrication, export delivery, and remote or on-site installation technical guidance.
Beijing office supports international business
The meeting also marked one year since Zhonghengfeng opened its current Beijing office. The office has hosted international business discussions, including visits from Ethiopian and Saudi clients, and connects the company’s commercial team with the Baotou manufacturing base and projects in six overseas markets.

Operating scale behind the plan
Zhonghengfeng reports participation in more than 910 projects involving about 1.45 million tonnes of steel structures across over 100 cities and regions. Its work includes rail transit, bridges, industrial buildings, coal chemical facilities and new energy projects.
The Baotou manufacturing base covers 100,000 square metres and has a monthly production capacity above 10,000 tonnes. Readers can learn more about Zhonghengfeng’s business structure, review its manufacturing and delivery capabilities, or send project requirements to the international team.
