Inner Mongolia Hengjiu Steel Structure Group marked the start of its 2026 operations with an opening ceremony on February 25. Employees gathered outside the company’s office building before returning to the year’s production and project work.
The event combined a staff meeting with traditional activities, including drumming, a flag-raising ceremony and lion dancing. Company leaders used the occasion to thank employees and set out the operating approach for the year: focus on the core steel structure business, improve through practical innovation and maintain product quality.
A practical start to the working year
The ceremony began at 9:50 a.m. Employees assembled in their work uniforms, exchanged New Year greetings and listened to the opening address. The message from management emphasized steady execution rather than a change in direction.
For a steel fabrication business, the start of a new operating year brings familiar priorities back into focus. Traditional activities bring employees together
A drum performance opened the public part of the event. It was followed by the traditional lion eye-dotting ceremony, in which company leaders used brushes to mark the lions’ eyes before the dance began.
