Fifty Participants Exchange Steel-Bridge Construction Experience
On July 22, 2020, a construction-site visit and technical exchange took place at the steel box girder project undertaken by Hengjiu on section LJ-2 of the southern Xi’an Outer Ring Expressway. Organised by the southern-section construction management office, the event brought together 50 participants from eight steel-bridge construction companies and four supervision organisations.
The company described the site as the route’s first steel-box and concrete composite bridge with a 60 + 80 + 60 metre span arrangement. The visit included explanations of project management procedures, construction processes and methods, and inspection standards and methods. The company published its account on October 18, 2020.
