Baotou’s Major-Project Tour in November 2022
According to Zhonghengfeng Group’s November 17, 2022 notice, Baotou held a major-project observation and promotion tour on November 10–11. The notice’s headline identified the Zhongyuan Defense project site as one of the stops.
The city leaders listed were Ding Xiufeng, then Secretary of the CPC Baotou Municipal Committee; Zhang Rui, then Deputy Secretary of that committee and Mayor; Wu Yun, then Chair of the Standing Committee of the Baotou Municipal People’s Congress; and Yang Limin, then Chair of the Baotou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
Together with representatives of local jurisdictions and municipal departments and organizations, the delegation visited Kundulun and Jiuyuan districts, the Rare Earth High-Tech Zone, and Qingshan, Shiguai and Donghe districts to observe progress on major projects.
