Recently, a delegation from Ethiopia visited Zhonghengfeng Construction Group, touring both the Beijing headquarters and the Baotou production base. The visit aimed to conduct a comprehensive audit of the group’s steel structure design capabilities, manufacturing processes, and quality management systems, while holding in-depth discussions regarding a proposed industrial plant project.
I. Beijing HQ: Focusing on Industrial Plant Solutions
The Ethiopian clients first arrived at Zhonghengfeng’s Beijing office, where both parties engaged in detailed discussions centered on the planned industrial facility. The dialogue covered the entire project lifecycle, including project scheme design, structural system selection, manufacturing scheduling, quality control standards, logistics arrangements, and subsequent cooperation models.

The Zhonghengfeng technical team showcased the company’s comprehensive service capabilities in overseas steel structure engineering—from detailed design and component fabrication to containerized shipping and on-site installation. The group highlighted its successful track record across six countries (Kazakhstan, Laos, Guinea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Slovakia), providing the clients with tangible international case studies.

II. Site Visit: Auditing the Full-Scale Production Line in Baotou
Subsequently, the clients conducted an on-site inspection of the Zhonghengfeng Baotou Steel Structure Production Base. Spanning 100,000 square meters with a monthly output exceeding 10,000 tons, this facility serves as the core manufacturing backbone of the group.

The delegation focused on the end-to-end workflow—from raw material processing, cutting, assembly, and welding, to surface treatment, anti-corrosion application, and packaging for shipment. During the tour, Zhonghengfeng demonstrated its rigorous management system, adhering strictly to design drawings and technical standards. Key quality control nodes were highlighted, including raw material incoming inspection, in-process welding checks, non-destructive testing (NDT), dimensional accuracy measurement, coating thickness detection, and final finished product acceptance.
III. Technical Exchange: Quality Management under International Certifications
During the visit, the Ethiopian clients raised specific technical inquiries regarding design codes and production standards. Topics included how connection node designs adapt to specific environmental conditions, welding procedure qualification standards, quality inspection frequency at various stages, and technical coordination for overseas projects.

The Zhonghengfeng technical team addressed these queries by referencing the group’s prestigious international certifications, including AISC (USA), CE (Europe), and GOST (Russia). The team emphasized their fully traceable quality management system, ensuring accountability from raw materials to final delivery.
IV. Client Feedback & Future Outlook
The delegation expressed high recognition for Zhonghengfeng’s standardized management, mature manufacturing techniques, and professional service capabilities. Both parties reached a preliminary consensus on the direction of the industrial plant project, laying a solid foundation of mutual trust for long-term collaboration.
