Key project fact: Two indirect air cooling towers, each 205 m high

In 2024, Zhonghengfeng was awarded the steel structure works for the indirect air cooling towers of Huangling Power Plant. During construction, the project team adopted H-beam temporary foundations instead of traditional concrete temporary supports, marking the company’s first application of this method in X-shaped column construction.

Key project fact: Two 156 m indirect air cooling towers; single-tower installation cycle achieved under 13 days.

The Karamay project required fast-cycle installation under a tight construction schedule. Zhonghengfeng completed the air cooling tower steel structure works with strong construction organization and installation technology, setting a benchmark for similar indirect air cooling tower projects.
