After a structural steel order is signed, the buyer and manufacturer should turn the delivery process into a shared, checkable milestone list before production is scheduled. Zhonghengfeng\u2019s September 17, 2026 source note identifies seven common stages to align.<\/p>\n

Confirm information and materials before production<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Shop-drawing approval: confirm component drawings, connection details, material schedules and the change procedure. Freeze the relevant information or define the agreed change window.<\/li>\n
  2. Incoming-material verification: keep heat or batch numbers, material certificates and any required incoming retest results traceable, including independent retesting where necessary.<\/li>\n
  3. Production planning and cutting: schedule by area or batch and identify priority components on the critical path.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Verify the first work before expanding the batch<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. First-component or first-segment acceptance: check the required dimensions, welds and holes before proceeding with batch production.<\/li>\n
    2. Trial assembly where needed: verify complex connections or components subject to special size constraints before they leave the factory.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Agree factory release and receiving responsibilities<\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Coating and factory inspection: confirm the specified surface-preparation grade, coating dry-film requirements, component identification, conformity records and packaging.<\/li>\n
      2. Phased dispatch and receipt inspection: coordinate arrival windows with the receiving party\u2019s lifting sequence, and define unloading and receipt-inspection responsibilities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The seven stages are a planning checklist rather than a promise of fixed completion times. The actual tests, acceptance conditions, release authority and delivery dates belong in the project agreement.<\/p>\n

        Do not treat installation as an automatic supply obligation<\/h2>\n

        Where site erection, final tightening of high-strength bolts or field-weld inspection lies outside the supply contract, the responsible parties and interfaces should be agreed separately. An order for fabricated steel does not by itself assign installation general-contracting duties to the supplier.<\/p>\n

        This guidance concerns the steel fabrication and supply interface. The contract and technical agreement determine the actual responsibilities; it does not offer EPC general contracting or assume responsibility for site installation.<\/p>\n
